ABOUT JESSICA

Jessica's connection to music started at age six when her father rescued a piano from a church basement and refinished it in their garage.
Having grown up with exposure to everything from Sam Cooke to Sex Pistols to Linda Ronstadt to RunDMC, Jessica's musical tastes and influences are far-reaching.

Jessica's diverse musical exposure is evident in her dynamic songwriting as she strives to carve out her own unique brand of accessible and intelligent pop.
Writing her first song at age five and anxiously awaiting a chance to tackle the ivories, she grew up dressing up as Laurie Anderson for Halloween, listening to Sam Cooke LP's and belting out next to Linda Ronstadt on the stereo.
"Jessica's songs are relatable, hooky and very radio-friendly… well-written, well-produced material …fantastic to watch as a live performer!" - Mike Savage, Artist Manager (Meiko), former Senior Director Creative & Media, A&R Worldwide.
Best described as "Cabaret Pop" Jessica's music appeals to a broad audience and has provoked fans to comment "it represents the moment you know things are going to get better" Todd Sanoy.
After winning Calgary radio station VIBE 98.5's 'Unsigned Vibe 2004' contest, Jessica recorded her first full length release 'Sticky Hands' and released music videos for the singles "Change" "The World" and "Sticky Hands"
STICKY HANDS is available IN STORES across Canada through Fontana North Distribution and online at: www.maplemusic.com.
As a compulsive songstress, Jessica enjoys piano collecting and adding to her catalog of original songs.
Jessica is currently hard at work in the studio with Producer Jay Evjen (Hot Hot Heat, Wide Mouth Mason, Reel Vinyl) recording her follow up release due out later this year.
Despite her secret desire to be stranded on a deserted island with Tom Waits, a piano and a case of Lagavulin, Jessica currently lives in Vancouver.
