Jessica's connection to music started with covering Thumbalina and Cheech and Chong skits at age five. Soon after, a rescued piano from a church basement
got refinished in their garage, allowing her energy to flow into something productive. Banging out songs became a past time to process attention and develop focus.
Writing her first songs while tackling the ivories; she enjoyed dressing up as Laurie Anderson and belted out next to Linda Ronstadt on the stereo.
Having grown up listening to everything from Sam Cooke to Sex Pistols, Jessica's musical tastes and influences are far-reaching. Jessica's diverse musical exposure is evident in her dynamic songwriting as she carves out her own brand of accessible and intelligent pop.
After winning VIBE 98.5's 'Unsigned Vibe 2004' (Calgary) radio station contest, Jessica recorded her first full length release 'Sticky Hands' and released music videos for the singles "Change" "The World" and "Sticky Hands".
She went on to produce two more studio albums, multiple singles and several cowriting successes in Taiwan and Germany. Her 2012 single "Warning Signs" was listed as a Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition, Adult Contemporary category.
